hello everyone!!!

so i'm getting SUPER stoked about YWAM!!!! It's only about 3 1/2 months until i leave!!! I want all of you to know i'm going to miss you SO MUCH! but know that God is using me and changing me and i'll be home before you know it!!!!-before CHRISTMAS even! (breaks out into song-"I'll be home for Christmas...." lol) i love you all! :D

Well i'm still waiting on my visa...i haven't applied...i haven't been informed if i need a certain kind of student visa or if i'm getting a "working holiday" visa, so we'll see, God will provide so i'm not fretting over it :)

I will hopefully be sending out support letters to inform everyone of what i'm doing, when i'm leaving, my financial situation, and to ask for prayer, so if you would like to recieve one via snail mail, send me your street address/city/state/zip code/ etc... even if you don't send me your address i might send you one anyways ;)

BIG UPDATE of the DAY!!!!-
so the DTS base i'm going to in Newcastle has their own website-www.ywamnow.com-and they have staff, student, graduated student, and "arriving" student webpages. These webpages allow for the YWAMers to write newsletters (aka. blogs), prayer request, finacial updates, pics, videos, and more for their pages, and i have my own personal page! so i will be using that to update everyone on how things are going and what's going on. This will be my last blog post on this site (if everything works out smoothly on the other page). I will still be emailing people telling them when i've updated my news and such, so if you're on my mailing list-no worries ;) If you want to get ON my mailing list comment me your email and i'll send you update emails!

Plane tickets PURCHASED!!

So i have officially purchased my plane tickets!! i got them through a travel agent who was EXTREMELY helpful! i'm going to be leaving July 11th i believe around 3pm. I will fly to Chicago and then to San Fransisco and then to Sydney finally where i will take a van or something to Newcastle! I'm so pumped about all of this! Me leaving and actually going to do my DTS has become so much more real to me now that i actually have purchased my tickets!!!! wow. anyways. I have that done, and now all i really have left to do is get my visa.
There's been a little trouble with this. You see i am suppose to get my visa following the procedure that the Newcastle YWAM base has. And well, apparently their immigration officer (or something) isn't sure if the students for the July DTS are going to be able to get student visas! If we aren't then we are going to be getting what is called a Working Holiday visa which apparently is Super easy and super fast to get. Like were talking 24 hrs.! that's fast. But im getting a little impatient because i just want to get it and get it done with! ah! but i know it will all work out!

I have a couple prayer requests:
-That all this visa confusion at Newcastle would work out....and work out as quickly as possible ;)
-I'm sick-i pray that my health is restored! :)
-That God prepares my heart in every way He needs to before i leave!
-I'm getting nervous about leaving everyone for 5 months too-so prayer for that too plz!

small update

There's not a whole lot of big news concerning YWAM.

I've gotten the necessary acceptance forms and such in after being accepted. I'm in the process of getting flights. Hopefully i'll have them by the end of the week. I'm leaving on Friday, July 11th, and leaving Australia back home Dec. 14th, but i'll be getting back the 13th because of the international dateline-or at least i think that's what's gonna happen. ;)

Besides that i'm looking into getting my visa!

I'm getting so excited for going to my DTS!!!! i realized the other day that i'm leaving in less than FIVE months! WOWZERS!

I'm trying to figure out possibly a different way to keep everyone updated with blogs, pics, video clips and such. Any ideas? send em over. This blog site i don't think will give me the option of videos and pics. I'm thinking of making a facebook group, but that means people who want to see videos and pics have to get a facebook-which is actually pretty easy. idk yet though, i have a little while to decide and find what works best.

So i guess that's it for now! I'll keep you updated more as more is happening!

OFFICIAL ACCEPTANCE!!!!!!!

I recieved my official acceptance email on Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! remember i had applied, but i was waiting to hear back?...so yeah, i'm OFFICIALLY ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!! and now i'm working on finding a flight for july and turning in certain fees and forms!
